right, my g/f has just got a starter kit but we are unsure of how exactly how or if it will work. Basically she's at huddersfield uni and in her room she has to "log on" to her internet (broadband) through a program called "blue socket" which seems to have a static ip, once she has logged in via a login page she is on the internet, what i want to know is will the xbox allow me to enter a password and username in so she can do a direct connection or is she stuck because it requires her to login? Any help would be great. thanks. she doesn't have a router or switch either.
Can you take the PC out of the equation? Then you might be able to put the login username and password on a router.
