Have 2 PCs, this one and another, and need to set up HL2 on the other PC.
Now - can I do this? Because of this whole crappy registering with your CD-key so the files can be unlocked etc.

Just log into the other computer with the Account HL2 is already registered with, and install it, and it should register/unlock everything fine. Once its available in offline mode there's no really need to be online with the game. I'd try and avoid being on the account on both computers at the same time, and definitely avoid online play with both of them at the same time.
