I reckon Man Utd boss Alex Ferguson sent a team out today to see that Man city and Coventry go down. The table doesn`t lie and City,Derby,Middlesboro and Coventry have been rubbish but when it comes down to the last few games teams not in relegation trouble can influence who goes down.Alex Ferguson has made it clear he doesn`t like Gordon Strachan by saying "I would rather he`s in front of me than behind me" meaning as his player he didn`t trust him and could see what he`s up to. Fergie would like city to go down because of the hate city and their fans have for Utd. When the Utd players celebrated their premiership success today, they were also celebrating the fact city will be relegated on Monday. Another thing - He doesn`t want to have to shake Strachans hand twice next season, which is Fergies last season. He can also do without having to play a fiery derby game twice when he knows his hot-head players will lose the plot and pick up suspentions.

Derby needed to win, Man Utd didn't.

I agree. Lets hope that next season the championship goes to the wire. I think Alex Ferguson has retired a year too late. I predict a difficult season ahead for Man Utd. For the first time under his management there appears to be a lack of discipline in the team.

Next Season Arsenal will be there again, and Liverpool, Leeds and Chelsea will have a better season too.

Probably. Gangly Wanchope scored a few against Man Utd and now at Man city he`s still rubbish. Derby will struggle next season unless three teams are awful. After failing to beat Ipswich tonight City will be relegated.

I dont know - Sometimes these things do happen, I mean Derby were fighting for their lives. Also up until they scored Utd were in full control. There again if it means that City go down who knows??
