It seems like I've been installing the damn things all night. I got service pack 2 not long ago too.
Has anyone else been badgered to death by that annoying little icon at the bottom right of their screen, or am I just an update-less wonder?

Since SP2 I've only had the one update, the GDI+ tool one.
it turns out it's re-installing the same security update.
I've seen a regular increase in Automatic Updates, but not as many as you seem to be getting.
I've had about 4 or 5 recently that installed straight away. Now I'm just getting nagged to install SP2 - which I don't want just yet.
