With games soon to reach life like graphics (the next generation of consoles should get there), and with better use of sound, music, and other atmospheric effects, how will games improve after this. Supposing a method has been made to create a new 3D world for every game... then what? Just endless streams od stuff we've seen before?

As the man who predicted the internet thinks "we will interact with our computers just by thinking by the end of this century". Well, I doubt we'll reach the level of seriousness reached in eXistenZ (pluf yourself into games!), but something like this must be done.

Think about it- throughout the history od gaming we have always interacted with games by hitting coloured buttons... realism- I THINK NOT! So the first step in the evolution of games is interaction by other means. Maybe headsets will become big again, and allow you to be in a real 3D world. Maybe we'll just plug ourselves into games!

Anyway, back to my main point. How will games vary. Well, firstly there are alternative routes. As Sega has shown with NiGHTS and Jet Set Radio, arguably the two most inovative and new games of all time (Nights is my fav game EVER), there are completely different ways t present games that don't look realistic- they look cool. Even better, they suite the games. Maybe other developers will be provoked to go completely back to the drawing board and think up radical ideas such as these! Who know!

Well, that's my grand theory!

There was a time that people would be horrified by the idea of people sitting infront of an electron beam generator glued to the images for hours, while pressing pieces of oil resin.

Sonic, I don't really want to have to plug wires into my spinal cord to play Quake 23, to be honest with you!

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Many thanks!!
Registered my website with Freeola Sites on Tuesday. Now have full and comprehensive Google coverage for my site. Great stuff!!
