If it combined a mobile phone i'd agree, or even a PDA, I'd leap at it, but concidering it's double the price of a PS2 I think I'll wait to watch the market. THis could be Sony's second machine to bomb in 12 moths!

I think the amount of devices the PSP will replace kinda justifies that. Plus it looks sexy.

It's been in development for aaaggggeeess... About 2 years and at one point the industry though it would never see the light of day! Finally though it shall arrive, though the price point is scary concidering you could get the top end mico notebook from Sony at the same price!

Just heard the pricepoint for the PSP too... £199 for a handheld console!! When will people learn that portability should be cheaper than wired! Never made sense to me

Been watching the OQO closely over the last few months on The Register. From what I've read it'll be somewhere in the $1000 range and released around 14th October. Some places have quoted $2000, but whatever the final cost will be, your still probably better off bying a laptop for the time being.

Will still probably end up buying one.
