to all current firefox users, you WILL have an issue or 2 installing this i imagine.

basically, it's pretty neat! the find box now appears/disappears as a search bar at the bottom of the screen, important alerts will appear under the navigation bar so you see them properly, and other than that, it's of the usual high standard of the rest of the series.

what i DID find was that a fair few of my extensions needed updating to different versions for compatability, but that was all. a pretty straightforward 5 minutes worth of small installs and we're back on track. the Firefox series has yet to fail me in any way other than not displaying a few sites properly (which is because FF "doesn't support all HTML" according to one download.com review... not because it actually supports it all PROPERLY then :-\ ) and this version is no exception.

Adblock's also a godsend - you can block ads with a couple of clicks, block ads from particular servers, block all flash things, and more.

well today i decided to have a bit of a play with firefox, as i run it under windows 2000 and a lot of the themes don't look as good as they do in screenshots for some reason (buttons display ok, but the background remains horrid default grey).

So after reading a few tutorials on the net i made myself a userChrome.css file and recoloured my toolbars and menus so something far easier on the eye and installed a couple more handy extensions. i love the flexibility these products offer, don't like something? no worries, a coupla minutes and you'll learn how to change it to how you like it. class.
