I have some ps2 games i need to backup, i have a DVD burner using Pinnical Studio, i've tried copying disc to disc which copies ok, but when i put it into PS2 it says 'This disc cannot be read' Do i need more software to do it?
Can i back up them with this software?

With Alcohol 120 and a DVD burner, 1:1 copies of PS2 games can easily be made. They are even easier than DVD movies.
I suppose the dual layer games are a bit harder to copy, but still, if it can be written in the first place, it can be copied.

Alltough it is illegal now to have a chipped ps2 you need it to be chipped to play backups or you can buy a thing called swap disc or in the case of slim ps2s a magic switch
i do believe if you copy them then you need a "chipped" ps2 as they say. i don't know how you treat your cd's, but mine don't get a scrath normaly. why do you need to back them up?
