Ronaldo - Fletcher - Scholes - Giggs should be your first choice midfield. Seems alright to me.
What is the point of that? It doesn't matter if you have Buffon in goal if you have a defence made up of muppets like O'Shea, Brown and Silvestre (before Rio came back) then you're going to leak goals. He made a mistake against Lyon granted but what about last season when he was dynamite and kept us in many matches?
