Boy is this mouse uber, it just totally reeks of style.

The whole carbon/silver combination looks great, the tracking is taking a little getting used to after having a mouse with a ball in it for the past 3 years. I dont know if theyve changed the battery indicator light a bit, but it looks less like a spirit level, so thats another bonus.

I would talk about how it's got loads of buttons as well, but who cares really?

I have heard of this before but never tried it, from my understanding its only really recommended for mouse with the old style ball in (correct me if I am wrong)

Better connection, less signal loss. Plus it is the only mouse at the moment with 1000dpi.

For gamers: Use the PS2 port for the fastest response times, google a little program called mouserate if you dont believe me (you might have to overclock your port to 200hz).Also something to do with the old PS2 port having its own IRQ whereas USB devices rely on CPU overheads to work.

Dont push me to explain that because I cant, it made sense though when I read it on a logitech mouse related forum somewhere...

I use the Everglide Attack Optical Mouse mat. Very smooth indeed.

I picked up the Razor Viper mouse and then got the X-Control/X-Speed mouse mat. Gold plated USB, an excellent mouse and mouse mat if a little on the expensive side.
