Basically, it’s Basketball with trampolines surrounding the nets, which players need to bounce off of in order to reach the basket. As you can imagine there are a huge amount of mid-air collisions in which defending and attacking players mash into each other.
The fact that the arena is sidelined like a Hockey arena also gives the game more aggression that normal basketball. Oh...and its VERY Americanised.
So, anyone else seen it?
Me and my brother have been watching it this morning, and caught the end of it last week. That manager of the green team (The Rumble, I think) knows nothing. He was talking about something completely unrelated, and just sounded like a retard.
Some of the collisions make me wince, particularly the one where this guy bounced up whilst landing sitting down, and whacking his head on the net! OUCH!
Anyway, I found a website for those that haven't seen it; http://slamball.warnerbros.com/
Oh and it has Reggie Theus, the coach from Hang Time. Classic!!
