software company rockstar of GTA fame have announced a new game in production. it is called state of emergency , where the sole object of the game is to riot and go on a rampage of violence and destruction. what a fantastic idea. but do you think the british censorship board will think its a fantastic game....umm .
state of emergency is due in the autum in america but do you think it will ever grace these shores considering the way certain people believe videogames influence peoples behaviour .although the managed to get GTA released amidst an cloud of outrage
which reminded me, about 2 years ago i read about a dutch software firm readying a psone football related game entitled hooligan ; storm over europe. i dont think i need to out line the game details.

The game has actually been put together in quite a cunning fashion, plot wise!
Unlike GTA were your goal is to be some kind of crime lord.
You're fighting for freedom and such in 'State of Emergency'
taking on 'the greater oppressor' I belive IGN put it!
Perhaps that will circumnavigate 'too much' hysteria from angry parents anf the like! Then the game can be released and 'the youth of today' can carry on terrorising old people, looting and vandalising without this game being blamed!!!

If State of Emergency gets released in America it will definatley get released over here because the people who allow games to be released over here are alot softer than the people in Ameruca. In the game Giants, the Women in the English version had her who boobs sort of hanging out but in the American version she had to have a bra put on for it to be released.
I damn well hope so - Ive just read and seen screenshots of this and it sounds + looks brilliant - I suppose if GTA3 can get a release then there is no reason why this cant!!
