All blatant newbie topics should be higlighted, like the GAD/FAD winning posts. They should be higlighted red, so should the thread name, and there should be a small, you know, danger radiation sign underneath it!

Topics SR believe to be very good, and have a lot of top quality posts in them, should have a gold thread header with a crown or something.

All others should be left alone!

There could be an extra weekly gameaday prize, given to the person that starts the best topic that week! That would be cool!

The same thing could happen in every forum!

Also, if they are not just blatant newbie posts, they are just worthless posts that should never of been on here, they should be coloured an icky green!

In the same way posters are given a newbie/regular etc. tag, the same thing should happen to posts. I mean, of course there will be just short replies, but they will still be an icky green! I mean some newbies post good stuff as well, but have not posted enough to become a regular!

And, along the lines of tags, when you go into a thread, there will be a short title, describing briefly what it will be like! So one of Dan's posts could say:

TITLE: Another long DC post about Skies Of Arcadia.

Message: (Too long to post here!)

That would be really cool, so you wouldn't have to read all 1000 words, if it did not interest you!

Now SR posts and posters alike will be rated and tagged!

Giving people power to give scores to topics, I think, is a great idea.

If I wrote 300 long posts that gave no useful information, I would be a regular, but if I wrote 299 short posts that were informative and witty, I would still be a Newbie. I suppose that sort of rating would take a lot of manpower though, but maybe users could vote.

OK then - Yep - you can do this Pink Piggy. Let's have your recommendations by Monday (assuming you don't mind working all day, all night and right through the bank holiday).

A simple list of everybody's posts will do, each one marked with a rating of 0 to 10. Then when somebody has scored 2000 points they can become a regular.

Onee kidding!
(just in case he says "OK then" and goes off to do it)

I think that if people were counted as a regular for quality of posts, then a new member could post one good post and be a regular and that wouldn't be fair!

As I said, the system is great as it is!

ok, highlight the GAD winners, however I think it's more discrimination if you rank people's posts.

Newbies can still have original ideas, and some people may disagree and rate it bad, whereas those who agree with the post will give it a good rating, and that could mean that people, after seeing decent topics highlighted red, would miss them out and not look for themselves!

Why wont people listen? The forums are fine as they are!!!
