I noticed a recent post in this INTELLIGENT DISCUSSION section which was basicly a short story about bum gaurds and aliens. No offense to the writer but this makes me wonder, what IS intelligent discussion?
Well you cant say its any kind of topic that promotes discussion because you can get people talking about the most unintelligible things. Its true that it takes intellegence to engage in discussion I suppose, but so does picking your nose. Maybe what is meant is the loose term "cultured". Help me out here.

Intelligent means that you need to put atleast a little thought into it.

People sometimes post threads in the wrong forum, especially if they are a bit thick, or badly retarded if you prefer.
I suppose your "Life, Love.." thread does belong in this forum, along with the many other philosophical angst ridden blogs that litter the place up. That and poems *shudders* (sorry Paradox, I know you're good at that kind of thing, but it ain't my bag, baby).
