...like myself, then take a look at some old PS1 titles, they can be picked up really cheap and some of them are still great fun to play:

Destruction Derby 2
All the Ridge Racers, including Rage.
Command & Conquer
Worms Armageddon
Soviet/Nuclear Strike
The Final Fantasy series.
Plus anymore you care to think of.

I'm off round the bargain bins at the weekend to try and find some of those. That should tide me over until GT4 and Ace Combat.

I really liked the Destruction Derby arena demo I used to have. So I reccomend that.

Oh oh and Brothers In Arms looks good.

or buy yourself a GC for 30 quid.

oh and i'm sure GT4 is around then sometime as well.

all scheduled for release in yankee land in the next month. I'm happy enough, although not playing anything else until i finish FF Tactics and get everyone to level 99 with all abilities learned. Rinsing

It's more of a Syphon Filter/SOCOM clone if anything (control-wise, graphically, 16 players online shooting each other with a vast arsenal of weaponry in an urban setting etc).
