The future of gaming well be determined, by us the players. We all know that games such as FIFA are inferior to ISS but they still sell more. Why because the average gamer will buy it. That is why producers have no need to continue into the fields we all want. (Originality, Playability etc.) While the average gamer continue's to by poor rehashes of games like FIFA developers do not need to change what they are doing. In terms of advancement players want to be able to have more control over what is happening in the game and new original ideas. With the arrival of the next generation machines this should allow this to happen, but developers may not be able to spend millions on new ideas if the advertisng continues to determine the big sellers.

The future of Gaming is bright, Programmers have been given so much more freedom that they should be able to produce the games however they want without boundaries, for a while at least.

We are all looking forward to the likes of Metal Gear 2 that have been made possible to those very advancements.

The future of Gaming will soon be unravelled, but it may take a while for us to see the revolutionary games, give programmers the chance to get used to the new machines sit back and wait for a fantastic array of games that will soon be headed our way
