Taken from some website, I forget the name of.

Sorry if the english is a bit dodgy in places, it's translated from some German Playstation magazine.

Oh and if you don't like Hitman games then you might as well switch off as this won't be fo you.

"He's a professional. He knows what has to be done. He's always in total control. He makes no mistakes. He who makes mistakes dies. Noone ever said that the life of a contract killer is easy. This time Agent 47 has lost control over the situation for the first time.

A new Agency for contract killings is trying to get into the market. To accomplish this, the involved would do anything. Employees of the ICA, Hitman's contract agency, are disappearing one by one. As suddenly contact with the Agency is broken, 47 suspects that he's the next one on the competitors' hit list, and goes underground.

FROM HUNTER TO HUNTED
He disappears to America. However he cannot escape his past or his calling. Even in the United States Hitman must do what he knows best, and take on a mission or two. The concept of the earlier games is also a big part of Hitman: Blood Money. Once again you have to kill important people. And once again you have a wide variety of ways in how to accomplish this.
Still there are some serious differences compared to the first three games in the series. The way in which you complete a job has consequences in the following missions. If Agent 47 is careful and remains undetected and if he leaves the murder looking as an accident, he will not be noticed by civilians and guards at the next mission. If 47, on the other hand, leaves a blood bath the word will soon spread. Then he'll be recognised quicker, and future victims will strengthen their security.

THE PRICE OF SUCCESS

Things don't always go as expected, and a carefully planned mission could suddenly end in a rain of bullets. Then 47 has the possibility to correct his errors. At his request police or ewyewitnesses will keep quiet or a discreet team of Crime Scene Cleaners (they cost money) will clean the scene and wipe the tracks of the Hitman. These services are however not only a bad thing.

No problem: A professional killer gets payed for his completed missions - like in the first game, which was only for PC. The ammount of pay depends on how cleanly the job is done on each level. You can however, invest the money in other things. New weapons, equipment, etc. are available to buy, or you could pay for a number of upgrades to your primary weapons. It's not possible to get everything however. If you get high speed ammo, you can't use a silencer anymore. Now you have to decide what to get for your money - which isn't easy, as the equipment is expensive, and you're always low on cash.

MULTIFUNCTION-KILLER

It would be mindless to put all your efforts into equipment only. You wouldn't be a very sought after contract killer if you're not flexible. Like in the earlier games you can sneak, hide and use disguises. However, you have to think about everything in Hitman: Blood Money, make sure your disguises have no bloodstains, or onlookers could get excited. 47 has learnt a large number of new moves. Now he can climb boxes, through windows and over walls. With the well chosen throw of a stone he can distract guards. However, these guards can also be used as human shields in close combat, or be pushed, for example over a railing.

DEATH SUITS HIM

These maneuvers might sound easy, but they're not. The NPC's are quite clever. They won't fall for every trick this time and wont just carelessly come running into every situation you create. In short: They are suspicious and very watchful. To hide bodies is an essential element of the series. As the gaurds in Hitman: Blood Money now also follow blood stains it will be harder than ever in the fourth installation.
Not only the AI of the enemies has been enhanced, but the the Glacier engine, developed by IOI, has also gone through an overhaul. The rag-doll-system is now even more realistic. The same is true for the animations as well as the lighting and shading effects. A first peek at the the graphics and the new features are shown in our pictures. Unfortunately we only have these four screenshots, where Hitman is at a job in the Rocky Mountains. During a christmasparty he'll be killing a porno producer.

It gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "Silent Night"."

This sounds bloody incredible. If it delivers eveything it promises it could well be goty. I do hope its do-able though. I like a challenge but hopefully it won't be impossible. Sometimes I think that some games can be to realistic and end up infuriating me. Shame theirs no plans to implement stealth games online ala sc. Could be interesting...

Never managed to complete Hitman 2 on the Cube (was a bit shiit on it really), but this sounds awesome. Really should have grabbed Contracts the other day on eBay, was only like £5.

Too much catching up to do what with the Resi games and now the Hitman games too. Bah.

I think the blood on clothing trick was implemented into a PC game last year and it didn't work very well. Hopefully though IO Interactive will make a better job of it. Prety much every step forward they have taken with the Hitman series has been for the better.

I've never quite finished Hitman 2 on Cube, yet Contracts just didn't bother me at all. Loved H2 though.

I think Rainbow Six 4 might be my GOTY because of the leaps they've made in cool features.

Is this the "Hitman: Blood Money" game? Looks a bit more cartoony than other games, but they've ramped up the AI loads apparently. You can pay people off now with the "blood money", and you can set up deaths to look like accidents. One I've seen aready is the Christmas party where you can get the bloke in the Santa suit drunk and push him over the balcony. Sounds cool - I'd love to kill Santa!

I'm just glad they notice bloodstains now.

Seemed so stupid for a guard to take no notice when you redecorate the halls with someones entrails. Also the blood on clothes thing should be very cool!

Oh and for once you won't be able to get away with killing everyone you choose, the whole upping the security thing should definetly make it a lot more challenging and also up the replay value as well.

I think it was summed up with - Porn >> Death >> Santa - looks the mutties nutties up to press. Hopefully they will bring in a few more stealth kills and put the environments to better use in terms of what you can use to kill people (ala the meat hooks in Contracts).
