I've seen a few of these lately, and they're not bad! Not brilliant, but they add weight to the Indiana Jones character, which I think is kinda neat.

Today he escaped from a German prison with Charles De Gaul, after enlisting in the Belgian army to fight in World War 1. Very far-fetched, and stretches history to snapping point, but Dodgeball had a pirate so why not? It's just entertainment, and I think they capture the slightly corny "isn't that convenient" nature of the films just right.

Also, I had a look about and they only seem to be available on video, and only on Amazon - anyone know if there are any DVD plans?

Just don't, not everything needs explaining in ABC terms.

I hope you're kidding, all my knowledge of history comes from these films.

I was watching it earlier today, when he's taken prisoner in World War One. Really good piece of Tv, although it's clear that whoever wrote it was more of a dramatist than a historian, seeing as the Russians were in WW2 Uniforms, and the fact that very few people (let alone P.O.Ws) were cremated back then, among other errors. But, still good watching! =D

I've been watching these too, good fun.. but now I've got a job, and can't see them anymore.. damnit.

The one with Picasso in was great, as was the one after that with Indy and his father going to visit some monks and philosophy and stuff.

Young Indy: they're pretty good - I watched a load of them a couple of years ago.
