I've had firefox for a few days now. I think its pretty good. It doesnt seem any faster or slower than IE on my machine. I like the way you can open tabs on FireFox so i'd say its better than IE, but only just.

My site:-

Requests / browser
31718 / Safari
12253 / MSIE
2003 / Mozilla
392 / Netscape (compatible)
452 / Opera
9 / Lynx

Lynx?!? Crikey - I used to use that when t'internet was unknown to about 90% of the population.

Just found this while looking at my site stats:

MS Internet Explorer 70017 84.8 %
FireFox 3046 3.6 %
Mozilla 1588 1.9 %
Safari 1199 1.4 %
Netscape 686 0.8 %
Opera 227 0.2 %

First number is the hits from 8 days, second is the percentage.

Shows that IE is still infinately more popular than anything else, although not as popular as it used to be...

And for anyone who does maths, I've taken out a few browsers like Media Player, that's why it doesn't add up. In fact that's probably why the percentages are lower, people requesting videos using Media Player from direct URLs will reduce the percentage.

I've only ever used Internet Explorer and Netswcape, and I have to say that neither is perfect, but I haven't a clue about Mozilla. Out of Netscape and Internet Explorer, though, I prefer the latter- Downloading stuff on Netscape is very annoying, and it's also painfully slow at times.
