Ok, here's the deal. At my new school there are two classes in my year who do Latin and Latin or IT. And the other classes just do IT. And I was supposed to do Latin but they put me in a class with only IT people. I like my class so I don't want to move to a class that does Latin. I've spoken to the director of studies guy and he said I could chose to do either one tomorrow. Now my parents want me to do latin. Which one is more beneficial? I have been doing Latin at my old school for some time and if I start doing latin now then I'll probably just start at the beginning. So, what should I do?
Yeah, I think I will do Latin. But the thing is is that I have had one day at the school and the classes who do Latin had 2 different lessons and different preps. Therefore they will ask me for my prep, and I can't just say I switched classes, they'll think I'm lieing!
If this is GCSE, and if I had the choice I would have taken Latin as opposed to IT. Basically, you don't learn anything that you couldn't do there, and even if you were to progress into college with it you won't need IT.
