"Need A Wired Router..."

Well, I need a router, fast.

Got a two floor flat, and within 20m are a laptop and a PC. About 5m away from the PC is a PS2 (heressy, I know). But the laptop and PC are on different floors... And I want wired. Just so much easier, as the laptop doesn't move...

But yah.

Can't find a wired router... Everywhere is wireless.

I just want a simple router. 4 ethernet cable slots, one USB printer slot, and one USB modem slot.

(BTW nothing complicated, please. Just broke my wrist for the second time in 3 months - same place - and moving is pain...)

The second one would indeed replace a USB ADSL modem. You plug it in at the wall. You plug a cable in at the computer. You switch on. Very little to do other than that.

The first one will need some sort of Ethernet connection, be it a modem or a cable set-top box.

Don't forget the cables either.

Hmm, will the second option replace my current BT modem?

And what would I need to do to configure it to work? Is it hard?
