HEllo everyone! I'm at school now, so I'll be quick. I got a demo of the Skies of Arcadia yesterday, and was wondering what u all think? I haven't had time to play it myself yet!

I agree. The stat side is there in moderation - about as much as in the first Secret of Mana game, only in quite a different way and with turn based combat instead of real time. The battle system is far superior than that of the Final Fantasy games and the like as there are enough changing factors to keep it interesting without going over the top to the point where you're battling with number that keep going up and down until one side runs out.
I'd call it the best RPG since Secret of Mana 2, which I rate higher than the first. Skies of Arcadia certainly shows Phantasy Star Online up to be the mess of an RPG that it is, when it actually is little more than a repetitive action game you can play alongside complete strangers you'll never meet or speak to.

Ive purchased it but still havent had chance to play it yet - However I spent a long time playing the demo and its an awesome game, like any RPG it takes a while to get into but the quality soon shows!! I shall look forward to playing it properly soon!!
With that and the reviews, if I get a DC I WILL buy it! It sounds wicked!

Sounds good enough to me, I'll have to play it!
Read the various reviews, including mine, on the Dreamcast section. It's a basic RPG (i.e. not many stats or too much character development) that plays like a dream, has an engrossing storyline and features some lovely visuals.
I have not played it! I shamefully dont even know what it is! Tell me please?
After playing the game (and having to return it..) I think it's fantastic, and I'll be getting my own copy soon.
I was first introduced to the game via the demo, then borrowed it and played it for 4 hours (not all the way through though, I kept dying at first) It's got a nice storyline and good characters too.
