Rubens Barrichello has got pole position for the Belgium Grand Prix. It's his 2nd of the year and he is beginning to show his true ability after 2 disasterous seasons at Ferrari. Times were way off last years pace which was a surprise.
The Championship battle is looking very good for Baumgartner. 10 points clear of Salo in 2nd, 24 ahead of the chasing pack and 5th on the grid for the Belgium Grand Prix. Even better for him was Salo down in 21st and Villeneuve 22nd and last.
It's a crucial weekend for drivers near the bottom of the Championship. Raikkonen, Coulthard, Verstappen, Frentzen, Michael Schumacher and Bruni must score points if they are to remain in the Championship hunt. Raikkonen might survive without scoring points but he would have to win the last 4 races if Baumgartner doesn't score. If Baumgartner were to win, half the field could be out of the picture.
Some interesting grid positions include Button in 8th, Montoya 15th, Ralf Schumacher 20th and Pizzonia in 6th.
Barrichello could give his Championship hopes a real boost if he wins from pole position. Da Matta is out of the title picture but will be desperate to score some points before the end of the season. He'll start 2nd. Fisichella has been there or thereabouts for the majority of the season and will start 3rd. Michael Schumacher gives Ferrari some hope in the Constructors with 4th. Baumgartner could have one hand on the title with a points finish from 5th. Pizzonia gets 6th to put both Renaults in the top 8. Pantano and Button are 7th and 8th for B.A.R.

I think the majority will be hoping for Belgium's unpredictable weather to throw something into the mix. Will Baumgartner tighten his grip on the title? Find out on Wednesday!
>last 4 races if Baumgartner doesn't score
.. and of course thats gonna happen :D

Alright, but not expectional- Button's down in 8th! Good chance of some points, though- Hopefully a late run of good form, I hope...?
Although he'll probably do fantastically well or something next season knowing my luck.
