Hey all. Discodexy asked if someone would start a new one of these competitions, so here goes.

Rules:

-Maximum of, shall we say, 200 words?
-The word to base it around is "Scarlet", you can easily get something out of that.

I'm going on holiday on Sunday but will judge soon after I get back. Shall we say, entries in by 18nd September, and I will judge them and name the top three poems on the 19th September. This gives people plenty of time to get their entries in.

Post your poems in this thread!

Enjoy

Hi guys,

I'm feeling quite inspired by things scarlet today; the creativity is flowing. My last poem was a bit crude and raw. I loved your definition paradox so I went away and wrote this as my new entry:

Scarlet Fever

Your scarlet smile
Fills me with bliss
I want to steal
Your scarlet kiss

My scarlet lips
Are hit or miss
I'd like to lick
Your orifice

And Scarlet bombs
And Scarlet fists
Save me from harm
In Scarlet mists

Scarlet my love
I must insist
Please marry me
You lyricist

This poem is about my dream lover.

Scarlet, a colour of rose and romance
Harlot, a trampette who likes to dance

Dictionary defined I slink back into rhetoric ambience
to write a better effort on a frosty late september morn.

Here's one of my filthy efforts

Scarlet Rash

You made the move
A naughty deed
Now you can clear
The Scarlet weed

You dropped your pants
With lustful greed
And Scarlet’s coque
Made your parts bleed

You silly girl
You should have known
The peril of
His rotten bone

And now you sit
Licking your wound
Inflamed with rage
Your warts attuned

He fed you lice
With his dick cheese
And now you’re rife
With his disease
