It was really weird, it was set in India, and Gandalf was pretending to be a lawyer, but ended up as some kind of spiritual leader using non-violent protest, and I think a bit of magic.
Ben Kingsley played the part, and half of the actors were rubbish because they kept calling him Gandhi instead of Gandalf.
No hobbits in it either.
How on Middle-Earth did they get away with such a movie?
Instead of shouting "Legolas! Shoot that b*stard Orc in the face. Go for his eyes, go for his eyes!"
He says "an eye for an eye and we will all be blind".
AND there was no Tom Bombadil.
