The new arch was apparantly lit up yesterday. Is this supposed to look impressive?

I'm not impressed but there again I will admit that I am still heartbroken over the fact that they tore down the twin towers. I also took a virtual tour of the stadium. Don't know how old this link is so it may have been posted before.

So now I'll admit to being excited by the new stadium. What a joy it will be to watch any match without sitting in the lap of the person next to you. Also, I will now be able to enjoy a drink without having to worry about the fact that I will need to cross my legs until we get to a service station:)

And the 'arch' looks totally trashy in the tour!

I'm definitely getting giddy at the prospect of visiting the new place and there is still months until it will be completed.

Have they renamed the stadium?

I think it looks quite impressive. Though, the fact remains that they should not have torn down the towers. Even Queen who performed there along with many others have a feature on their DVD about how they shouldn't have been torn down. Nice subliminal message in that link though, saying the stadium has "a kind of magic..."

Doesn't matter what it looks like it'll still be England playing there, now if Brazil decided they were going to move their home games to Wembley i may get a little excited :-D

I went to see Torquay lose 1-0 to the SCUM of Colchester.

Evil.

But now, Torquay are in Div 2.

And losing a lot.

BOO!

When I went to the Film and Comic Convention at Wembley Arena, I walked past Wembley Stadium (obviously).

Anyway, the arch was still down, and so through the fence, I managed a touch it! Go me. ;c)

I only went to the old Wembley stadium twice, but it was better than nothing.

even though Middlesbrough lost the replay against Leicester, and got beat by Chelsea twice.

As long as the acoustics are good, the seats are well placed and the pitch is good, I don't really care what it looks like. After all it's the football we're looking at girls.

Same here. I only live a few miles from there. It will take me no more than 10 minutes to get there by bus.

Looks brilliant, certainly looking forward to going there.

Ummm, what are the chances of Conference play off finals being moved there?

;^)
