A real surprise read for me. I read it as my taste for Sci Fi and Conspiracy theories were finally combined, or so I thought, in a novel.
But this is no novel, this is a frank and extremely well researched alternate view of the evolution of human history and development. All I can say is you must have a very open mind to a lot of the ideas presented here. A lot of it I still find to be highly improbable, such as the idea that perhaps we are even now being controlled by an Alien 'Custodial' race. But so much of it makes sense, with particular regard to the great detailing of a shadowy 'Brotherhood' network which has been around for Millenia and which controls man using a plethora of methods.
Religion is the primary method used, but also any mystical society that requires blind faith, and offers seemingly unattainable goals of spiritual salvation through mystical and unbreakable guidelines. It takes an objective look at the positive and negative effects of all the major (and some minor) religions, and intertwines them with each other, clearly illustrating that not only are they linked, and used as control by the brotherhood, but also as a way of pacifying the human race through un-needed conflict and spiritual degradation.
The book goes into some depth about the true evil of the paper monetary system, and how it has destroyed nations, turned people against each other and not only financed but created huge conflicts. All of which can be traced to this mysterious brotherhood.
He goes on to try and (quite convincingly) explain some major 'recent' events such as the rise of communism, the terrible death toll this has had on the world, even mind blowing conspiracy theories about major western powers testing biological weapons on their own population. A machiavellian mindset orchestrating a two sided conflict between communism and capitalism like a sick game.
----------------------------------
It may sound extremely far-fetched, even ridiculous, but approach this book with an open mind and you'll be amazed what is contained within. After the first chapter where he went into extreme detail about the Alien 'Custodial' race that originally 'created' man, I was about ready to put the book down and face up to having wasted £6, but I am glad I didn't - this is one of the most interesting books I've read in a long time.
Whether you choose to accept it as Science Fact or Science Fiction, is up to you.
