Just watched this yesterday. It was great. Japanese movie made by John Woo in '93 for those of you who dont know. It was like diehard with gunfights 100 times better, more blood and a cop partnership. Superb!The gunplay at the end was amazing.
can anyone suggest martial arts type movies similar to the baby cart and lone wolf series?
How about the replacement killers, is that any good?
I'm getting the killer soon. Though the 15 quid price tag put me off a little bit. Considering hard boiled only cost me 8 quid on play.com. I like my money to stretch :P

If you enjoyed Hard Boiled you'd do well to also check out The Killer, Bullet in the head and A Better tomorrow 1+2.
Only thing I would say about hard boiled is sometimes the subtitles move to fast and occasionally the start and end of a sentence is to long, so the screen may cut of half a word or so. Kinda annoying. Hardly detracts from the great action though.
The hospital shootout is great, as is the warehouse scene, though I still prefer the final battle in the church in The Killer. Pity Woo can't direct to the same standards he once could.
The end scenes in the hospital are some of the best action scenes you're ever likely to see.
