News just in: Robson has been 'relieved of his duties'

No links, yet. When the BBC posts something, I'll stick a link to it.

Dammit, I loved the Robson as well. He was like Ranieri #2

One man can do so much to turn a team around within the space of 5 years, and yet, just when the team - having made some stunning summer aquisitions - could be on the verge of something quite great...

He only gets FOUR GAMES into the new season!

---

If you ask me, Newcastle season was on course for disaster days before it all kicked-off, following Freddy Sheppherd's announcement Bobby Robson would NOT be offered a new deal at the end of this, his final season.

What must that have done to the morale a faith within the squad; such a young and growing team of talented players it was, too.

I'm caught in two minds about this, i love Robson, he's a great manager and a good bloke and i would have liked him to be able to leave with some dignity at the end of the season, on the other hand we've been awful, he's brought in too many trouble makers and the moment it was said this would be his last season he's immediatley lost some authority, he's lost the dressing room and it was a case of watching this season go down the pan or him going, i suppose shepperd knew what he wanted although he better have a replacement lined up.

They've actually got more points than they had at the same point last season...
