Okay, I need a Router so that I can play my PS2 Online and surf the net at the same time, the thing is, I have no idea what router to get and where to get one from.

My internet is run but Cable (not ADSL), please tell me what I need to get my router working and where to get it from.

Cheers.

You shouldn't have to change your settings, and somehow i doubt you're using USB to connect on Xbox live considering it uses ethernet, so all you need is a few more ethernet wires to connect your modem to the router, and then from the router to the PS2/Xbox/PC.

£50 should be enough for all you need. And it's not THAT hard to set it all up. Just a matter of plugging in a few wires and installing stuff on your PC perhaps.

*wonders if when half the forums were deleted, me being ignored by Stridman was also deleted*

I have a USB internet and I use both Xbox Live and PS2 Online. I'm not the richest kid in the world right now but I can spend around £50 on a router.

I dont mind switching cables round when changing to my PS2 Online to Xbox Live but it's annoying when you want to play on your PS2/Xbox Live and surf the net at the same time.

Will it be hard to set up and will I have to change any of my settings on Xbox Live and PS2 Online.

What kind of modem you got? (USB Or Ethernet)
If its an Ethernet one then it makes things all the more easier, there are loads of routers to choose from it just depends how many computers etc you need to connect to it.

Not sure about USB Routers and connecting them up to the PS2..
