My dear Mother had to pay the grand sum of £3.50 to rent this out. What a load of balls.
The now fat, old geezer out of Ghostbusters talks for a few hours, seemingly without a script on the subject of how much his life sucks, speaking in a grumbling monotone, while staring out of the window five times per minute. He is joined by an equally dull, equally depressed young woman, who stares out of the window 5 times per minute and makes hints as to how much her life sucks.
The fat geezer out of Ghostbusters goes around Tokyo, staring blankly at some silly Japanese people, as they go around their day to day life struggling to say things properly. “Lick my stockings” “Lip your stockings?” “No, lick, lip, lilp, my stockings” “Ha, you silly Japanese woman.”
My god. Shooting the whole film on a handheld camera by someone with crippling arthritis doesn’t help either. It’s not “modern”, it’s not cool, it’s bolloks.
I could only sit through an hour of it. After that I started getting the urge to burrow the memories of the film out of my mind using an electric drill.
The only reason I didn't walk out of that movie is because there was some fat woman beside me who I couldn't fit past.
