Anyone watch this today over on the wrestling channel on that supercard repeat show. I only managed to catch the last two matches but they were great. Haven't seen anything that good from the WWE for ages. Had Chris Benoit in the final against Great Aski or something, looked pretty weird seeing him with a load of hair and he didn't finish with a crossface, tut tut. Also saw the likes of Dean Malenko, Liger, Taka Michinoku and Eddie when he was in his mask days around the ring.

Watched the Lawler interview for about 25 minutes, don't know how i lasted that long. Just him talking about his career down in Memphis and how great he was and drew all the big crowds. Couldn't hear him that well though what with him being so far up his own ass, made his voice all muffled

The interviewer was actually Rob Feinstein, the owner of RF video and founder of ROH, who sold the company in the melee following 'Feinsteingate' to avoid damaging the reputation of that fed for the benefit of it's stars. The majority of these stars bad-mouthed Feinstein despite him never being proved guilty and doing the right thing.

Good point though, nowadays the majority of a match is punches or Flair chops

He talked about many things. He discussed his entire career, chronologically. He also commented on how wrestling today is too far removed from reality. A rough misquote:"Years ago, you could have a wrestling match which consisted of a lock up, referee break(and this would go on for 20 mins) and then the heel would throw ONE punch, and the fans would be all over him."

Not sure what that has to do with the J Cup raven but yea i agree :-D

Unfortunately i missed the MDM interview which is a shame because he was one of my favourite wrestlers and in my opinion the best ever heel. What else did he comment on?

I just sent Jim Hellwig(now known as "WARRIOR"), an agressive email. He deserved it. I hope he replies, in which case I will post the original and his reply.

I don't have digital, but a few weeks back I was watching the Ted DiBiase interview they aired on TWC(again, I am unsure if this was a repeat or not).
In short, it was great. It was absorbing. The interviewer just let Ted talk. I found Mr. DiBiase to be extremely genuine, and didn't really find anything he said offensive. What he said about Vince becoming the real life Million Dollar Man was excellent. Heh heh.
That chump the Ultimate Warrior was finally bad mouthed in the way I have wanted for quite some time.

You know he tried(and failed) to sell his WWF Championship belt on ebay? That's disgusting. He is a repulsive human in every way, I hope he never sets foot in a wrestling ring again.
