We should get Tevez. Half the price, but infinite more talent in his little finger.

Well that knocks a few million off his valuation now, the lad wants to leave so you either take what's on the table Everton or we just wait and wait until his contract runs out or until you finally crack and settle for a lesser fee.

However where in the hell was this 25 million they're supposedly offering when Ronaldinho, who's far better than Rooney in my opinion, was up for sale?

It's just a case of them signing him because they can. Like on Champ Man, when someone like Viera goes on the transfer list, and, although you've got 16 decent midfeilders, you go and buy him anyway...

If he goes to United then that's around £40mil they've spent on strikers in 7/8 months.

But you can just imagine it. Van Nistleroy sitting up top with Rooney and Scholes breaking through the centre. Old Twinkletoes out on the right and Giggs probing from the left. Its an extremely exciting prospect. But hang on, with all this attacking talent, who's going to hold in the midfield? Nicky Butt, boss. No, no wait he's gone to Newcastle.

Idiots.

Newcastle don't need him (not that Man U do in abundances). Shearer, Kluivert, Bellamy and Ameobi ALL deserve chances this season.

I reckon Bellamy would be the most enticing, as he's the best striker that would then be surplus, from either club.

everton have no need to sell him if that rich bloke does pay up

also neither united need him as they have RVhorse, saha, smith and kluivert, shearer, ameobi and bellamy

thouhgh teletext was saying that bellion/richardson and bellamy/ameobi could be used as "makeweights"
