It's just a case of them signing him because they can. Like on Champ Man, when someone like Viera goes on the transfer list, and, although you've got 16 decent midfeilders, you go and buy him anyway...
If he goes to United then that's around £40mil they've spent on strikers in 7/8 months.
But you can just imagine it. Van Nistleroy sitting up top with Rooney and Scholes breaking through the centre. Old Twinkletoes out on the right and Giggs probing from the left.
