Hehe wasn't that spanish coach a bit of a sore loser in the basketball when they lost to the USA today by not shaking Larry Brown's hand? Don't get mad because he called a timeout when you know you had lost the game lad, he was just being cautious and making sure you didn't come back from 11 points down *snickers*


Boo all you want Spainish crowd we'll be the ones waving bye to you as we go to the Semi's and you go home.

Anyway game itself was good bit too tight for my liking and resembled more a boxing match than a basketball game. Stupid Duncan getting fouled out early (but then these refs do like calling anything on anyone wearing a USA jersey, we invented the damn game you muppets, you play by our rules :-D) but luckily Marbury stepped up and brought his 3 point game, something the US has been lacking all tournament.

Well they got to shoot in them as well so can't really complain. Not our fault i was 6'5 and could dunk without hardly having to jump :-D

Hah, bet the other schools had something to say about that basket.

Ah that sucks man, we had quite a decent league where i lived. There was 16 schools in it. Only our school and our neighbour one were any good (or in other words they were the only ones we didn't score over 100 points against) though so the finals were always between us.

We got to play it at home 4 out of the 5 years i played in the team, oh how i loved our 9 foot rim. Could vertical that baby easy, always got at least 30 points a game at home.

Going into the sixth form now.

Unfortunately, the school doesn't run a team for the sixth formers so I don't have any leagues to be in.

I've gotten back into now, almost back to being able to slam it on a 10 foot basket that i could do back in sixth form

I need to start playing more basketball.

I reckon I'll buy that hoop soon.
