What is up with it?!

You get some inbred tw*t shouting down his mic playing absolute crap in the background, plus they always broadcast right next to the decent radio stations causing loads of interferance.

Forest Fan (or anyone else in Romford area), can you get a good reception on Virgin? There seems to be some dodgy crap on 105.95 that's interfering with it, (and Heart.)

What stuff do they use to do it too, and do they ever get caught?

I think it's after Bluebeard started threatening to board other peoples' boats over the airwaves.

Same. Unless they can prove the equipment is there, they can't charge.

I'll have a little try on the various radios round the house.

Usually they are about 1.5 meters long and placed on the roof of the building they are broadcasting from.

Saw a program about guys in Edinburgh who had their own pirate radio station, used to get listeners to look out for police etc so they could have time to get the stuff of the roof and hide it.
