Whoo, successfully flashed my ebay bargain X800Pro (VIVO) to a fully fledged 16 pipeline X800XT monster running at full XT speed!

Got my 6800 GT today and it runs Doom 3 really well with everything on Ultra @ 1280x1024, very impressed, CS Source rocks so much, the physics are way better.

Im dabbling with the thought of watercooling the card. The CPU temp will take a hit though, hmmm.

No, I doubt that I will, my current case has plenty of breathing space with a 120mm fan blowing almost directly onto the card...

I dont really intend to overclock this little baby, quite content with 16 relatively fast pipes!! :-)

Going to try doom 3 now, last time I tried it was on my rad 9600 at about 5 fps...

I used to have an old 9600 that did around that in 3D Mark 2001.

I want one too, but I doubt I'd get my money's worth out of it. Although I soo want to play CS:Source right now - shame I sold Condition Zero a while ago :(

Think I'll just go for a 9800XT. That'll last me until I need to upgrade my entire system.

Nice one. I so want an X800 right now. Unfortunately it's at the bottom of my list. New mobo, cpu and memory come first.
