In my opinion its either Z.O.E, SSX or Quake 3 Revolution although this list will change when GT3 and MGS2 come out

There are several good games out there to chose from.
Theres Dead or Alive 2, which in my eyes is the best fighter out. Tekken Tag is practically the same as the other with spruced up graphics and the bowling.
Starfighter is also a good game, with brilliant graphics and enough there to keep you coming back for more.
Z.O.E is a good game, if a bit repetitive, but the MGS2 demo adds to this to make it an essential purchase.

At the moment, I am playing Tiger Woods golf and I must say, it is very good, with stunning graphics and captures golf brilliantly, although it could have captured more golf courses.

To answer your question, the best at the moment would most likely be DOA2 because it is a very good game, which I still play for the sheer pace of the fighting. But this will change with fighters such us Virtua fighter $ and Tekken 4 being released. And of course there is GT3 and Metal Gear solid 2.

I personaly think that Starfighter is the best game at the moment - Apart from the fact that Im a huge Star Wars fan, this game will last ages before you complete every single challenge and everything about it is quality!!

Out of the games I've actually got, I'd say:

Classic: SSX
Great: Starfighter, DOA2, ZOE
Good: Theme Park World, Shadow of Memories, Fantavision

Wow, SSX seems to be quite popular amongst you people, and most of you see it as the best game on the PS2 at the moment. It might well be, but the problem is it doesn't cater for everyone as everyone does not like snowboarding games. Having said that, it is a very good game with a lot to offer and now EA are making it even better with additions to current tracks and additional tracks etc. But it still is snowboarding, and not everyone likes this genre.
I am a beat em up person which is why I like DOA2 so much, so at the moment, for me, DOA2 is the best and I can't wait for the next one.

Hi Knappa. I wouldn't say I was necessarily a snowboarding game fan. I've never really taken to them before, just because there have been some playability flaws. But SSX has pretty much done what Tony Hawk's has done on the PS1. It's proven that you don't just make a game to fit a genre, you have to think how it plays as a game as well. As another example, I never understood the appeal of beat em ups until I played Tekken. I don't mind what genre a game fits in to, as long the game is there.
