I've been sifting through eBay this morning looking for some new DVDs. Particularly, CSI, Buffy, Angel and The X-Files.

And I've come across these "Asian" versions which compared to their UK counterparts are like a million times cheaper. I mean, like I can get five box sets for the price of 1 UK one!!

Anyways, what I wanna know is are they exactly the same as the R2/R1 versions just with Jap writing on the box?

They're most likely VCDs or copied DVDs and not worth the effort.

Thing is the dude/tte selling them has a really good feedback profile, the pics are pretty good too.....

But as long as they produce high quality DVD's at a much cheaper price who cares? :-D

Looks pretty good, yet pretty suspect too.

I'm interested in grabbing the Simpsons box sets for £20 :D

Well his CSI one looks abit dodgy, cause the all the discs have the same picture on them, when the real version has different people on the discs.

Maybe hes cuting corners?
