Hi everyone, just wanted to know what you think of this drive- it's £80 from a certain website.

Yup, I have USB 2.0 and firewire... all is good.

It arrived today, now I just need to wait for the discs which are coming tomorrow/thursday.

I was looking at 2nd one down on this page last week (£95ish)

anything under £100 is cheap tbh, I take it you have USB 2 port, otherwise it will be very slow.

I can imagine having use from a stand. If you're on a train/etc, stealing sensitive corporate data from your Boss's unlocked laptop while he pays a visit to the John, you don't want to mess up your disc becuase you just caught it with your elbow :-)

I wonder how many people get any use from the stand.
