now i really do need help, i was updating the infrared driver when the laptop froze, so i turned it off
turned it back on again, and black, the cpu light was on all the time, and black, not even the first thing your meant to see came onto the screen, so does anyone have any ideas from here???

thankfully i think it just overheated, but i still have a problem with the infra red, i have enabled it in bios, but it still says the media type is not supported. check you system for media settings.

keep playing with the power and hopefully it'll get a display, from there I'd get it in safe mode and roll back the driver (If XP)
