"Potato Scones"

Matty has been making fun of this fine food after I included it in my fry up this morning - which was brilliant.

It's a Scottish thing but they're superb.

I usually have jam and clotted cream in my scones, and, to be honest, have never heard of Potato Scones. :-( I think I've tried Pizza Scones... Though they were more like very small pizzas with not much on them.

Scones should only be eatten with jam and cream.


Any other method is a sin. A sin I say.

It's a shame really that the English are so tasteless and don't understand the potato scone. Ever have them with cheese?

Mmmm... Yeah these are great. When I was in Texas these come as standard at breakfast in the morning. They only go and give you about 3000 of them!

Potato Scones are literally the best thing about Scotland. Well, them, Ayrshire bacon and Cremola Foam.

We had them when we were on holiday in a Scottish B&B, bloody fantastic...
