I know the basic rule of thumb:
Black, grey or dark trousers - black shoes and belt.
White or light trousers - brown shoes or belt.


But what about when you have light trousers, but a black shirt/jacket ?

To me, black and brown shoes both look wrong. Which should you wear ?

Go with the belt and no shoes, then it doesn't matter about the shirt / jacket :)

Should be black, since the jacket is black. However, if the jacket were to be a dark blue, then you could wear brown.
