Hi jaimie, port erin bay has some cracking fishing through the winter months. I mainly fish the rocks out the end of bradda (i fished there with you and billy in the last day of the festival), the rocks hold plenty of callig up to 5lb, there is plenty of big whiting to be caught there as well. I have also caught dab, pouting, poor cod, codling, conger, ballen and dogfish there during the winter months.
I don't tend to fish port erin beach much, when i have i caught whiting, callig, coalies and dog fish.

would anybody be so kind as to tell me what sort of angling there is to be found in the port erin area during the winter and would it be worth while putting on a beach comp at port erin,i only ask as i am a novice fishing there and enjoyed it so much with all the different species that i am eager to learn about the fishing in the bay during the winter i hope that the fishing will be as varid as it is in the summer months regards 316.

We are having some problems with the discussion server at the moment and the clock just went an hour slow.

Should discussions disappear completely, it'll probably be because I've just chucked the server through the window and into the river below!
