One hard disc can only boot up Dos, the one I need information from.

What leads do I need and what software, if any?

connect it up as a secondary drive from your motherboards other IDE connector.

boot into windows from your regular drive and you should have no hassles getting to the data on your old one from there, it should just show up in "my computer"
