Someone help me? What is it? I think it's bands like funeral for a friend and alike, but I am not sure. The only real knowledge of Emo I have is my friend, who wears shirts that he describes as "Emo-tastic". Is this a word? So many unanswered questions....

It's sixth form bands with a limited knowledge of guitar chords. Like if a mime could talk, then all you would want is for it to shut up.

It's rock with no rock. Celine Dion with guitars, middle of the road bland pap. The videos and songs are all the same, except some are lamer than others. Someone in black with a backwards cap palm mutes obvious power(less) chords, whilst the singer, also in black, bends over shouting really "meaningfullycopyright eMpTyV2" into the microphone about how empty he/she feels because he/she had to clean up their bedroom. The only rock there is not caring about how much they damage the mic - although that could be ignorance. The only awards they'll ever win are for loudness.
These people aspire to be Bon Jovi, and that is plain wrong.
