The network with broadband is at my girlfriend's house, so I didn't get to use it until the other day.

Ohoho. I'm now downloading at a nice 88kb/s. 18 more than what it was.
It depends more on the upload speed. I can't remember what sort of speed NTL have, but Algy has Telewest, 750 Kb download, 128 Kb upload. I can host better than he can on 512/256 ADSL.
Valentino Rossi runs live on 256 Kb (or at least it was) cable. So I think it would work, but just faster the better.

Yeah, it came into effect last night, and there was a significant improvement. I'm almost tempted to go with NTL for broadband now - does the 300k service handle Xbox Live well?
