i am on to my second pair of converse they are sinle and cheep and look god does any one agree!

Well they have been classed as "out of season" now, I got mine off Eastbay USA last year, I love them so much that I need a another pair in a different colour - but alas Nike have stopped making them.Probably so they can re-release them as classics and charge a fortune.

Currently bidding on some from Ebay USA. I never buy good trainers in the UK - the cost is ridiculous.

they arrived and i laced them up, they are so comfy its unbelivable i could sleep in them !

Finally killed my Reebok Classics, got some luvvely K-Swiss ones and some Adidas Martial Arts are on the way

Whereas, my trainers are simply knackered. I should have thrown them out a year ago, but I've kept them because they're such a comfortable fit. No grip left at all, bits of trim falling off and the inside showing through the front. All this despite I have a pair of steel-toe-capped boots, a pair of skate-shoes and some leather-lined casual shoes.

I have never had a pair of Vans.

From what I've seen, though, they charge too much for something that looks quite poor.

Much like Nike, in fact.

I pay very little for my crap.

Vans are fat shoes
