i have an intel motherboad and i was wondering if you should have the motherboard out of the case when you are installing the Processor/memory or inside the case?

From a heatsink point of view, it's better to install the CPU outside of the case. Otherwise, it's not important either way. I like to put my CPUs in outside the case, then install the RAM inside the case, as I've lost too many pints of blood from fiddling around with sharp edges before.

Processor and heatsink are most easily done outside the case, memory is easy to do inside the case.

Just remember, don't put the motherboard on the carpet to install anything. The static electricity would probably fry it. Lie it on a table or something.

I find outside the case gives you a bit more room, but my case has a removable tray to make putting it back in nice and easy.
