Hey I just bought a PS2 Slimline, and god-dang it, the damn region free disk doesn't work anymore. There is no automatic ejection on the new playstation, and now I can't watch all the crappy hollywood movies that I bring over from the states!
Does anyone here know of a solution. I suppose I have to buy another crack disk for my new playstation?

Tried DVD region X and it when it did read the disk eventually it didn't get to the menu.
So took it back and swapped it for the Peter Kay thing, much better!

Buy the Magic Switch with Swap Magic v3.3. It will allow you to watch multiregion DVDs, play imports and backups.
When I can justify buying one, I will.
Right now though, I have no intention of buying anything for my PS2 - I'm even considering letting it go.

Buy a cheap multi-region DVD player. Should set you back about the price of a game.
