OEM Windows must be purchased with a piece of qualifying hardware, the COA must be stuck to the side of the machine, not good if you want to change cases, but it is cheaper

OEM as far as I know is software which comes with new PC's, and so it is down to the company you bought it off of to assist you when needed.

Im on the OEM version, the only diffrence is £80 and the fact that you cant deactivate it (for example if you wanted to transfer it to another computer) - because the serial number gives it away as an OEM version, the Microsoft call centre people responsible for deactivating your copy, should you wish to re-activate it on another machine, will refuse to help you.
